Latinos account for 1 in 5 new HIV infections. Prism Health North Texas’ Viviendo Valiente is working to increase health information dissemination to Texans who are Mexican or Mexican descendants.

The training in Laredo came out of a collaboration with the South Central AIDS Education & Training Center (AETC). The Prism Health North Texas’ Viviendo Valiente team is excited to have had the opportunity with the Promotoras de Salud in Laredo. The whole team is looking forward to the next training in May in South Padre Island.
